Corona Smoke Generators produce a 'dry', non-hazardous, thermal aerosol, consistently and reliably. One smoke machine can generate enough thermal smoke to reduce visibility in a 52,000 cubic feet area to 3 feet within one minute.

Corona technology has been perfected over a thirty year period and meets ISO 9001 Quality Assurance standards for design and manufacture. The machines require minimal servicing and oil-based smoke units are virtually maintenance free.

There is a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger block of Corona’s smoke machines and a five year warranty on parts.

Corona generators meet UL, CSA and all relevant EU standards

Safe and Clean Smoke

  • does not soil any surface or material
  • does not harm computers or other sensitive equipment
  • non-toxic and non-contaminating
  • non-conductive and non-corrosive

Versatile Smoke

  • can be pressurized and ducted
  • non-flammable
  • immune to adverse temperatures

Superb Aerosol

Thermal artificial smoke is made up of tiny liquid particles that float in the air and reflect and deflect light. In simple terms, the smaller the particles the greater the quality of the "smoke". Corona' s smoke particles are the smallest compared to those produced by other industrial smoke generators and optimal in size to create the brightest smoke effect.

'Wet' artificial smoke consists of liquid particles that are sufficiently large that they quickly fall out of the air to form an oily deposit. Corona's particles 'hang' for a record time and ultimately settle evenly in all directions without leaving detectable deposition. To maintain smoke coverage, there is need for little replenishment. This translates in fluid economies and reduced deposition.

When aerosol is pressurized it turns wetter because some of its particles bond. The smaller the particles at the outset, the more pressure the aerosol can sustain before it turns wet, giving Corona smoke a clear advantage. Corona smoke can be pressurized by centrifugal fan to extend its travel path in a ducted system or to accelerate dispersion.

Safe and special fluid
Corona's smoke fluid has been approved by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety and the Health and Safety Executive in the UK.

It has been confirmed by the US Food and Drug Administration as representing no health hazard

To accommodate various applications, Corona offers three types of smoke fluid. Two are water based. One produces smoke that disperses quickly to suit certain special effects. The second delivers smoke for extended low visibility. Normally this type of smoke dissipates quickly at ambient temperatures but smoke produced by Corona machines lasts for up to 60 minutes.

The third type of fluid is oil based. Smoke generators using this type consume less fluid for equivalent effect. Oil based smoke lasts for over 90 minutes and only requires 10% of the fluid achieve similar densities compared to water based smoke.

Ease of Operation

Corona smoke machines are lightweight, compact and extremely simple to use. The Colt weighs only 12 lbs. and can produce quality smoke while disconnected from its power supply.
