CORONA SPIRIT 900 SMOKE GENERATOR

The SPIRIT 900 smoke generator combines exceptionally high output of dry and safe, water-based smoke with the most up-to-date solid state electronic temperature controls. The Spirit is very economical to operate and can be controlled remotely via a cable. The Spirit can be used with two types of smoke fluid which makes it a very versatile machine capable of addressing a wide range of applications including: Breathing apparatus training; all areas of survival training; building, ship and aircraft evacuation training; fire simulation; leak testing of ductwork, drains and enclosures; airflow visualization tests; and special effects for the motion picture industry, amusement parks, television, theater and nightclubs.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
Persistent or non-persistent Corona smoke fluid is pumped from the reservoir into the heat exchanger where it is vaporized. The vapor condenses on reaching the air to form a visible, dry, dense "smoke". The liquid particles produced by the Spirit have a diameter much smaller than that of conventional smoke generators. They hold less than one hundredth the amount of liquid and drop at a rate that is fourteen times slower. The Spirit can produce smoke at maximum output continuously - no re-heating cycle is required. If an external fluid reservoir is used smoke can be produced in unlimited quantities.
