CORONA COLT SMOKE GENERATOR

The COLT4 and COLT4 TURBO series of smoke generators are primarily designed for the rigorous military and industrial marketplace. They are widely used throughout the world by military forces, fire and police departments, health authorities, and the shipping, airlines and entertainment industries, or wherever portability of a smoke generator is required.
The COLT3 produces smoke that disperses quickly. It is ideal for applications that require small quantities of smoke or smoke of limited density.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
Corona smoke oil is broken down into a fine mist by introducing a fluid solution under pressure into a heater block where it vaporizes. The vapor condenses on reaching the air to form a visible, dry, dense "smoke". The liquid particles produced by the Colt have a diameter much smaller than that of conventional smoke generators. They hold less than one hundredth the amount of liquid and drop at a rate that is fourteen times slower - very little fluid is required. Corona’s Colt smoke fluid is contained in an airtight canister and pressurized by an inert gas.
The Colt produces a smoke that is dry, dense, long lasting, and capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 60oC (140oF). The smoke quickly produces extremely low visibility which is maintained for extended periods of time, making it ideal for fire training, emergency training, leak testing, and airflow visualization. The Basic models can be operated for up to 30 minutes after the power has been switched off.
 
QUALITY ASSURANCE
The Colt generators are designed and manufactured to ISO 9001 and BS5750PTI standards, the highest level of Quality Assurance available. All are factory pre-set and tested prior to shipping. Corona’s unique smoke fluid formulations and the resulting smoke have been rigorously tested and analyzed by both independent laboratories and the Health and Safety Executive to ensure that it is non toxic and non flammable. The Colts are also NATO approved.
